Delivery and Returns

Delivery Information

In most cases the standard service on orders received prior to 4:00pm for delivery to addresses in Mainland UK is that the goods will be delivered within two working days (i.e. If you place your order before 4:00pm on Monday your goods should be delivered on Wednesday).

Zarges Ladders will be delivered usually within three working days, direct from Zarges. When placing your order for Zarges products you will contacted by Zarges to arrange delivery.

Delivery, including VAT, is £4.95 for Mainland UK or is free on orders over £70. If you place your order before 2pm, your order can be upgraded to Next Day Delivery for no extra cost.

Returns Policy

Altis Industries Ltd offers a 30 days returns policy to ensure that if you’re not happy with your purchase or have changed your mind for any reason, Altis Industries Ltd are here to help. Please ensure that any items you return to us are in a resellable condition and in their original packaging. Your statutory rights are not affected.

How to Return

You can return your items to any Altis store or via post to receive a full refund from us within 30 days of purchase, as long as the item/s are unused and in a resellable condition and in their original packaging.

Simply fill out the returns form to return your item to us. For postal returns, you can send your item/s to the following address:

Once we have received your return we will contact you via email to confirm safe receipt. Once the item is returned and checked, we aim to process your refund immediately. The refund should be in your bank account within 3-5 working days. You will receive an email from us confirming the refund.

Faulty, Incorrect or Damaged Goods

In the unlikely event that your goods are faulty, or your items arrive damaged, we will offer a full refund within 14 days of purchase. We require you to notify us within 5 days of purchase if your item has arrived faulty, damaged, or incorrect. If you purchased your item more than 30 days ago and it has developed a fault, we will endeavour to rectify the situation for you as best as possible. Depending on the circumstances, you will be entitled to either a repair or replacement, or we may offer a refund or price reduction.

If you feel goods purchased from us are faulty for any reason, please call us on 01420 476873 to discuss returning the goods to us. If your item is damaged or faulty, you can post your return to us and we will refund your postage. Alternatively, contact us to arrange a courier to collect your faulty item; we will ask you to fill out a form and this will be arranged for you as soon as possible.

If you have received the wrong items from Altis, please let us know on 01420 476873 and we will arrange for the items to be collected and the correct order be sent to you as a matter of urgency, or you can post the incorrect items to us and we will arrange a refund of your postage.

Liquids

If you receive liquids from us where the container is damaged upon receipt, we would not require for you to return this to us. We would request you photograph the damaged container and email this to us at [email protected] or call us. We can then review the photograph and organise a full refund.

Power Tool Returns

For power tools, we have teamed up with our leading power tool suppliers to offer a free, fast and reliable repair service. Your faulty power tool will be repaired and returned to you ready to use. Please either phone or email the returns form to [email protected]. The service is available for power tools from the following manufacturers:

  • Bosche
  • DeWalt
  • Festool
  • Hitachi
  • Makita

Remember you must register your extended power tool warranty online within 28 days of purchase by visiting the manufacturer’s website.

Unavailability

In the event that a product is unavailable for whatever reason, we will contact you to ask you whether you would like us to supply a suitable alternative product. We will not supply you with an alternative product unless we receive instruction from you that you wish us to do so. If you opt not to purchase an alternative product, we will refund the full value of the product and any applicable carriage charges.

Risk and Title

The Products will be at your risk from the time of delivery. Ownership of the Products will only pass to you when we receive full payment of all sums due in respect of the Products, including delivery charges.

Pricing

All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT. The only possible additional charge above the price quoted for the item is a carriage charge of 4.95 on orders and an optional additional charge for a next day delivery.

The VAT element of each purchase is clearly detailed on the invoice.

Our site contains a large number of Products and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the Products listed on our site may be incorrectly priced. We will normally verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures so that, where a Product’s correct price is less than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the Product to you. If a Product’s correct price is higher than the price stated on our site, we will normally, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatching the Product, or reject your order and notify you of such rejection. We are under no obligation to provide the Product to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you a Dispatch Confirmation if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as a miss-pricing.
