Altis
are members of Hire Association Europe (HAE) and fully comply with HAEs
Code of Conduct and safety measures programme which include servicing and
testing equipment before it is hired out, demonstrating the equipment if
required and offering safety advice to customers. A copy of the full Code
of Conduct is available to customers on request.
Your
safety
Our
2002 Hire Booklet is a brand new format of booklet designed to help THE
HIRER and to promote customer awareness of safety. The HAE guidelines on
safety requirements have been illustrated for your safety and we strongly
recommend that the appropriate items are used in accordance with the safety
symbol as illustrated. Safety equipment as advised is available for sale
at special nett rices. Written instructions on the correct and safe use
of equipment is issued with items hired from us and we strongly recommend
that these are read by the user of the hire item. Verbal instructions will
be given if requested. The use of an RCD circuit breaker is strongly recommended
when using any item of 230V supply.
Insurance
Customers
are strongly urged to insure against loss or damage of hire equipment.
Items not returned will be charged for at full cost of replacement and
hire will continue until settlement has been made.
